The Three Passes trek is quite an trekking expedition, often referred to as the most challenging route to reach Everest Base Camp. It's a 17-day journey, our longest trek in Nepal, and it's not for the faint of heart. If you're an experienced trekker up for the ultimate challenge, the Three Passes trek promises an unforgettable experience in the Khumbu region.
This adventure begins in the remote Dhote Kosi valley in the far west and takes you over Renjo La pass, leading to the beautiful Gokyo valley. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the stunning emerald lakes that give Gokyo its name. The path then guides you over the demanding Cho La pass and into the Dudh Kosi valley before the final leg to the renowned Everest base camp. The journey concludes as you descend and cross the Kongma La pass, eventually arriving in the picturesque Imja Khola valley. Along the way, you'll also conquer three impressive peaks: Gokyo Ri, Kala Patar, and Chukhung Ri.
This trek is a true test of dedication and endurance, making it an adventure of a lifetime for those who are up for the challenge.
