Located north of Pokhara, Mardi Himal is at a height of 5587m above sea level. Under the big Machhapuchhre Himal, this place is famous for trekking and seeing the mountain peaks up close.

About Mardi Helicopter Tour

The Mardi Himal helicopter tour is a package arranged by Hi Nepal Trek to let you enjoy these mountains and nature.

 

The tour starts from Pokhara airport with a bird's eye view of this small, beautiful city. We then move towards the mountains passing over the lush green forests getting you excited for what's to come. 

 

The whole journey feels like suspense. When you approach the mountains, cross them, each moment creates curiosity about what's beyond. And what you see does not disappoint as you get a larger, more breathtaking view every time. You cannot get enough of the beauty and experience the Himalayas create within you.

 

The tour is about 12 to 15 mins long. We land at Mardi Himal High Camp (3850m) where you will see amazing views of snow-covered mountains like the south side of Machhapuchhre(Fishtail) along with rhododendron bushes and the colorful Danphe bird. You will have 30 mins to stay at the camp, enjoy the world here and take photos.

 

What is Different About Mardi Himal Heli Tour?

Mardi Himal is a hidden gem of Annapurna region which means it is less crowded. You will be able to enjoy your time peacefully with least noise, just nature, you and your loved ones. 

 

You will fly above the newly opened Mardi Himal trekking trail. The villages here only came up after the trail opened. The whole of Mardi Himal, from trail to destination, is less explored which makes it even more adventurous.  

 

Best Time for Tour

You can do this tour all year round. We mainly do the trip in the morning. We schedule looking at the weather so you get a clear vision of nature.

 

Autumn and spring are the best seasons for the Mardi Himal tour.

 

Who Can Do It?  

This tour is very flexible. Family time is important. Even if you have elderly people or children in your family, they can join this beautiful trip to the mountains. People of all ages and fitness levels can do it.

 

Read Before Booking

1. The ride may be delayed if visibility is poor within 2.5km, due to air traffic, or if waiting for a weather check. In such cases, we will arrange the flight the next day if you agree.

 

2. If the return ride is canceled due to bad weather, we will try to arrange a stay but you need to pay for it. 

 

3. In a shared ride, the cost is divided per person. Apart from bad weather, the flight can be canceled if any member cancels.

 

4. If one person cancels a shared ride, the flight will only go if we find a replacement or if the remaining people pay for the missing person.

 

5. If landing is not possible at the planned spot due to weather, you can choose another place. But there is no refund in such cases.

 

6. You should pay 25% of the total cost as the booking amount and the remaining 80% between 2 to 6 days before. No refund if you cancel at the last hour.
