The Kali Gandaki River is a gem of Nepal, offering thrilling rapids and stunning scenery along its medium-length course. Originating in the Mustang region, nestled between Nepal and Tibet, this river flows between the towering peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, carving out one of the deepest canyons in the world. As it journeys through lush forests, mountain vistas, and eventually into the arid landscapes bordering the Tibetan Plateau, it provides an unforgettable adventure.
Our journey starts with a drive or flight to Pokhara, where we'll then head to Besisahar, soaking in close-up views of the Himalayas and diverse landscapes along the way. Throughout the rafting expedition, you'll navigate through exhilarating rapids, twist and turn amidst breathtaking scenery, and camp under the stars, surrounded by the natural beauty of the region.
Kali Gandaki River is renowned for its fantastic kayaking opportunities, attracting both seasoned paddlers and beginners alike. As one of Nepal's sacred rivers, it's adorned with cremation sites and burial grounds, adding a spiritual dimension to the adventure.

- Entrance: A 30-minute flight or a 6-hour drive to Pokhara
- Starting Point: Nayapul (70 km / 4 hours drive from Pokhara)
- Ending Point: Mirme (105 km / 5 hours drive back to Pokhara)
- River Distance: 55 km
